Dr. Akhil is a highly skilled orthopaedic surgeon with specialized expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of foot and ankle disorders. His clinical interests include sports injuries, fractures, ligament and tendon injuries, deformity correction, diabetic foot conditions, arthritis, minimally invasive procedures, and complex reconstructive surgeries. He is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care with a focus on restoring mobility, relieving pain, and improving quality of life.
He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Thrissur, D.Ortho from Government Medical College, Kottayam, and DNB (Orthopaedics) from Aster Medcity, Kochi. He further pursued a Fellowship in Foot & Ankle Surgery at Rajasthan Hospitals Limited, Jaipur, followed by an International Fellowship in Foot & Ankle Surgery from Sunway Medical Centre, Malaysia. Prior to joining Caritas Hospital, Dr. Akhil served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at Government Medical College, Kottayam.
