Dr. Vysakha K V earned his MBBS from Government Medical College, Tirunelveli, followed by MD in General Medicine at Government Medical College, Trivandrum. In November 2022, he completed his MRCP (UK). He pursued DM in Neurology from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST). Subsequently, he undertook a Post-doctoral Fellowship in Movement Disorders at the Comprehensive Care Centre for Movement Disorders at SCTIMST. During this fellowship, he gained training in diagnosing and managing various movement disorders, including nuances of Deep Brain Stimulation . He is proficient in patient selection, intraoperative monitoring, post-operative programming, and follow-up care for patients who undergo Deep Brain Stimulation procedure. Additionally, he received hands-on training in specialized procedures such as botulinum toxin injections for various conditions like hemifacial spasm and Emg guided botulinum toxin injections for dystonia and spasticity. With expertise in managing hyperkinetic and hypokinetic movement disorders, Dr. Vysakha has over six years of experience, demonstrating a commitment to advancing neurological patient care.
