Dr. Binto Mathew is a highly accomplished General, Laparoscopic, Bariatric and Robotic Surgeon with more than 15 years of dedicated surgical experience. As a Senior Consultant in the Department of General, Minimal Access, Bariatric and Robotic Surgery at Caritas Hospital, he has established himself as one of the leading minimally invasive surgeons in Central Kerala, combining surgical excellence with compassionate patient care.
A pioneer in advanced surgical technology, Dr. Binto Mathew performed the first robotic surgery in Kottayam, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of modern surgery in the region. As the Lead of the Caritas Robotic Surgery Programme, he has been instrumental in developing a comprehensive multidisciplinary robotic surgery service, enabling patients to benefit from world-class surgical care closer to home.
