Caritas Hospital successfully conducted an awareness session as part of its World Environment Day observation, focusing on the theme "Beat Plastic Pollution." The session was led by Ms. Reney R Pillai, Deputy Director (Wildlife Education), Wildlife Circle, Kottayam, Kerala Forest Department. The program emphasized the harmful impact of plastic pollution and inspired participants to adopt responsible and sustainable practices.
The event took place on Friday, June 27th at 2:30 PM at the Diamond Jubilee Hall, Caritas Hospital, Kottayam. As part of the initiative, a Waste Material Handicraft Exhibition was also organized from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, featuring creative and practical reuse models crafted by staff and students.
As a token of appreciation, Rev. Fr. Stephen Thevarparambil, Joint Director, Services presented a small gift on behalf of Caritas Hospital to Ms. Reney R Pillai, honoring her valuable contribution to the session and the cause of environmental awareness.
