Upholding the message of World Heart Day, Caritas Hospital and Decathlon jointly organized a marathon. The marathon, which started at 6:30 AM from Caritas Matha Hospital, was flagged off by Ettumanoor CI Anzil A.S.

Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath (Director & CEO, Caritas Hospital), Rev. Fr. Joice Nandikunnel (Joint Director, Operations) and Rev. Fr. Jismon Madathil (Joint Director, Media & Relations), and Dr. Deepak Davidson (Chief Interventional Cardiologist & Senior Consultant, Caritas Heart Institute) were present on the occasion. The marathon, which began from Caritas Matha Hospital, passed through Caritas Roundabout (Pattithanam) and Ettumanoor, and concluded back at Caritas Matha Hospital around 8:00 AM.

The participants were categorized into three main groups – employees, students, and the general public – with separate competitions organized for men and women. During the prize distribution ceremony held after the marathon, winners were awarded cash prizes, while all participants received certificates and medals.
