The UAK Mid-Term Conference 2025 was held on April 6th, 2025, at Diamond Jubilee Hall, Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences, Kottayam, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The focus of the conference was on “Diagnostic dilemmas in Carcinoma Prostate.”

The session began with a prayer song, followed by the welcome speech by Dr. Suresh Bhat (Senior Consultant – Urology, Caritas Hospital). Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath (Director & CEO, Caritas Hospital) delivered the patrons address. The presidential address and lamp lighting were done by Dr. Vinod K.V (President, UAK). Dr. Balagopal Nair (Secretary, UAK) gave the felicitation, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Suchindraprasad Unni T. (Senior Consultant & HOD – Urology, Caritas Hospital).

This conference proved to be highly beneficial to urologists, medical professionals & postgraduate students in understanding & addressing the challenges in diagnosing prostate cancer.
