As part of World Stroke Day, Caritas Hospital organized the ‘StrokeFit 2026’ Plank Challenge on October 29 at Caritas Hospital, highlighting the importance of physical fitness and stroke prevention. The Programme was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. John Poochakkattil, Joint Director (Administration), Caritas Hospital. Dr. Joseph Sebastian, Senior Consultant and HOD, Department of Neurology, delivered the welcome address.

Rev. Fr. Saiju Puthenparambil, Assistant Director (Media & Relations), along with other doctors and staff members of the hospital, attended the programme. The initiative aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness about the importance of exercise in stroke prevention. Dr. Lijo James, Senior Consultant, Department of Neurology, delivered the vote of thanks.
