The Caritas Nursing Service Department, in association with the Kerala branch of the Trained Nurses Association of India, successfully organized a state-level conference on Preceptorship with the objective of nurturing the next generation of nurses. The event was held on September 27 at Caritas Hospital.

The program was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Dr. Binu Kunnath, CEO and Director of Caritas Hospital, who also delivered the keynote address.

The conference highlighted how preceptors should effectively guide and mentor new nurses, ensuring they receive proper direction and support. The valuable contributions of eminent professionals—who have made a mark in the nursing field by leading and teaching nurses in various institutions—added great depth to the event.

The panel discussions provided a platform for sharing practical experiences, which proved to be both highly inspiring and engaging for the participants.

A distinctive feature of the conference was the active participation of nurses from across Kerala, from the southernmost to the northern districts.

As part of the conference, paper presentations were also conducted.
