Caritas Hospital Successfully Completes 100 Robotic Orthopaedic Surgeries
Marking a significant milestone in advanced medical care, the Caritas Institute of Advanced Orthopaedics & Robotic Hip and Knee Replacement Center has completed 100 robotic orthopaedic surgeries. The major procedures completed include robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements.
To celebrate this remarkable achievement, a special event titled “Robotic Century” was organized recently at Caritas Hospital. The function, held at the Caritas Diamond Jubilee Hall, was inaugurated by renowned former Indian footballer and Padma Shri awardee I.M. Vijayan. Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath, Director and CEO of Caritas Hospital, Dr. Kurian Philip (Head of the Department & Senior Consultant- Orthopaedics), Dr. Dileep Isaac (Senior Consultant- Orthopaedics), and Dr. Anand Kumaroth (Senior Consultant-Orthopaedics) and all other orthopaedics staff presided over the ceremony. Mariamma Jose, the first patient to undergo robotic surgery at Caritas Hospital, shared her personal experience with the audience.
