On 30th September 2025, Caritas Hospital Trust and the World Health Organization (WHO) signed a Project Collaboration Agreement (PCA) at the WHO Country Office in Delhi. The agreement was signed by Dr. Roderico H Ofrin, WHO Representative to India, and Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath, Director & CEO of Caritas Hospital and Institute of Health Sciences, Kottayam.

This collaboration aims to strengthen public health in Kerala through technical support and innovative initiatives. Under this partnership:

• A state-of-the-art laboratory and surveillance system will be established
• Various public health and research projects will be developed and implemented
• A new project office at Caritas Hospital Campus, to coordinate research and implementation in central Kerala

This milestone reinforces our commitment to advancing healthcare and improving the well-being of communities in Kerala.
