Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences successfully conducted a Liver Care Awareness Session on May 17th, in observance of World Liver Day. Organized by the Department of Gastro Sciences, the event was held at the Court Hall, District Court, Collectorate, Kottayam. Centered around the theme "Food is Medicine," the session aimed to educate the public on the connection between diet & liver health.

Dr. Deepak Madhu, Consultant in Gastroenterology at Caritas Hospital, delivered the keynote address, sharing his expertise on preventive liver care & healthy lifestyle choices. Attendees received guidance on maintaining liver health through balanced nutrition & timely medical care.
