Laser is a technology that has revolutionized the field of cosmetic dermatology. But even today, when people say that laser can be done, they approach it with a little fear and a lot of doubts. It can be said without a doubt that laser treatment with quality equipment from experienced laser experts is very effective and has very few side effects.

What are the benefits of laser?

Laser is an abbreviation of (LASER - Light Amplification by stimulated Emission of Radiation). Laser rays with different wavelengths can be used to solve various skin problems.

The most people in our op are for the services of DIODE LASER (810nm) which helps in reducing excessive hair growth (LASER HAIR REDUCTION). Excessive hair growth on the face and neck is a matter that mentally troubles many women. This problem can be caused by PCOD, thyroid problems, other diseases or due to the use of certain medications. Laser treatment helps a lot in finding and treating the cause and reducing hair growth significantly.

How is the process?

First, the facial hair is removed by shaving and then a gel is applied to the face. DIODE laser is used. Laser can be done with or without a numbing cream. Each session is done at an interval of 6 - 8 WEEKS. The number of times it needs to be done varies from person to person. An average of 4-5 sessions is recommended.

Apart from reducing hair growth, various types of lasers are available today for removing facial moles, removing dark spots, reducing pits and scars on the face, removing SKIN TAGs, warts (WARTS) etc. on the body, neck and face, and reducing stretch marks. Laser treatment can also be used to remove some cancers that occur on the surface of the skin (BCC - Basal Cell Carcinoma).

Various types of lasers such as Pulsed Dye Laser, Switched NdYag Laser, Carbon dioxide Laser, Erbium Yag Laser, Pico Second Laser can be used to treat various skin problems.

In addition, Excimer Laser (Excimer Laser -308nm) for the treatment of vitiligo is very beneficial.

What are the side effects?

When using any laser system, necessary precautions should be taken. Laser should be done under the supervision of a trained doctor.

Protective glasses should be used for eye protection. Pregnant women should avoid laser treatment. People with sensitive skin may experience redness, swelling, and temporary pain. Minor burns may occur in some people. Some people may experience minor discoloration and scarring on the skin, but most of these changes are temporary.
