Hospital and Institute of Health Sciences proudly launched a program called IPCN (Infection Prevention and Control Nurse). The event took place on May 7, 2025. It was held at the Diamond Jubilee Hall. This program is a big step towards better infection control in hospitals.
The program began with a prayer song, followed by a warm welcome speech from Mr. Cirosh Joseph, Chief Human Resources Officer at Caritas Hospital. He spoke about the hospital’s ongoing efforts to raise standards in healthcare education. Dr. Presoon Kuruvilla, Medical Superintendent of HIPCO and Senior Consultant in General Medicine, gave an introduction to the course and explained how important proper infection control is in today’s healthcare settings.
The program was officially launched by Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath, Director and CEO of Caritas Hospital, who shared his appreciation for the team’s dedication and emphasized the positive impact this program will have. The event came to a close with a heartfelt vote of thanks from the Infection Prevention and Control team!
