EMGRIT 2025, organized by the Department of Emergency Medicine & Trauma Care, Caritas Hospital, was held on May 24, 2025, at the Diamond Jubilee Conference Hall, Caritas Hospital. The event was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath, Director & CEO of Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences, in the presence of Dr. Ajith Venugopalan (Organizing Chairperson, COO & Group Head – EM & TC) and Dr. Vivek R (Organizing Co-Chairperson & HOD – EM & TC), Dr. Bobbie N. Abraham, Medical Director and Joint Directors, EM doctors, acute care nurses, and paramedics came together for a day of training in emergency care.

Faculty members including Dr. Jobin James T, Dr. Bharath Prasad, Dr. Joseph Sebastian, Dr. Joby K Thomas, Dr. Arjun James, Dr. Sisira Sunil, Dr Mathew Antony, Dr. Mathew Jose, Dr. Balu P R S, Dr. Minnu Thomas, and Dr. Remy Mary, among others, led sessions on topics like Stroke and ACS Golden Hour, ABG, NIV, Toxicology, Polytrauma, and Cardiac Arrest Stabilization. Workshop stations also covered IV Cannulation, Defibrillation, Cardioversion, AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use, and trauma care.
