The Emergency Medicine Day Celebration 2025, jointly organized by Mangalam Institute of Technology (MIT), Ettumanoor & Caritas Hospital, was successfully held on May 28, 2025, at the MIT Digital Theatre.

The event was graced by Dr. Sateesh Bino IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ernakulam Range, as the Chief Guest & Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath, Director of Caritas Hospital, who delivered the special address. A professional talk session was led by Dr. Deepak Davidson, Chief Interventional Cardiologist & Senior Consultant, and Dr. Vivek R, Senior Consultant in Emergency Medicine, both from Caritas Hospital, Thellakom and also Valedictory Address by Prof. Mrs. Twinkle Mathew, Principal, Caritas College of Nursing.

The program held training included demonstrations & activities aimed at teaching participants essential life-saving techniques such as CPR and first aid for trauma and cardiac emergencies. The program was an important step in raising awareness & educating people about emergency healthcare, with participation from faculty, students & healthcare professionals.
