Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences, Kottayam, which has been a symbol of compassion and healthcare for over six decades, has launched its new initiative, the Caritas Global Healthcare Centre. The centre was inaugurated with a solemn ceremony held at 3.30pm September 30th. H.G. Mar Mathew Moolakkatt, Metropolitan Archbishop of Kottayam & Patron, Caritas Hospital Trust, blessed the new centre and officiated the blessing ceremony.
The Caritas Global Healthcare Centre has been established with the aim of making Caritas’ healthcare services more accessible to patients from different parts of the world. Along with dedicated health check-up facilities for NRI patients and C-Care health check-up services, the centre will also house the International Patient Relations (IPR) department for international patients.
The centre has been designed to provide patients seeking treatment with services such as appointments, treatment coordination and follow-up care through a single point of contact. Equipped with spacious facilities and modern systems, the centre will ensure easier access to Caritas’ wide range of healthcare services for patients from India and abroad.
Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Caritas Hospital, presided over the inaugural ceremony. H.E. Mar Joseph Pandarasseril, Auxiliary Bishop of Kottayam & Chairman, Caritas Hospital Trust; H.E. Geevarghese Mar Aprem, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Kottayam; and Caritas Hospital Trust members, Rev. Fr. Abraham Parambettu, Adv. Joy Joseph Kodianthara and Mr. Thomas Chazhikadan were also present. Joint Directors, doctors and other staff members of Caritas Hospital were also present to witness this historic moment.
