Caritas Hospital marked the beginning of the Christmas celebrations with a vibrant procession as part of “Buon Natale” Season 5, held in Kottayam town.

Kottayam District Police Superintendent Shahul Hameed A, IPS, flagged off the procession. Caritas Hospital Director and CEO Rev. Fr. Dr. Binu Kunnath, Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI, Principal of K.E. School Mannanam, Rev. Fr. Michael Vettickat, MD of Deepika, and Rev. Sr. Aleyamma Sebastian , Principal of Mary Mount Public School Kattachira, were among the dignitaries who attended the event.

This year’s Christmas message procession featured more than 5,000 Santa Clauses, creating a spectacular sight. Children dressed in red and cheerful Santas led the parade, spreading joy and excitement among the people of Kottayam.

Following the procession, a valedictory function was held at Mammen Mappila Hall, where Minister V. N. Vasavan, Caritas Hospital Director and CEO Rev. Fr. Dr. Binu Kunnath, Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI, Principal of K.E. School Mannanam, Rev. Fr. Michael Vetticattu, MD of Deepika, and Rev. Sr. Eliamma Sebastian, Principal of Mary Mount Public School Kattachira, were among the dignitaries who attended the event. Student cultural performances were also staged afterward.

“Buon Natale” Season 5 concluded by ushering in the warmth and spirit of the Christmas season.
