Caritas Hospital in Kottayam marked World Parkinson's Day by hosting a patient meet, "Unite for Parkinson's," on Wednesday, April 10. Nearly 100 patients with Parkinson's disease and their families participated in the event, which aimed to raise awareness about the neurological disorder, foster a sense of community, and provide valuable support and guidance.
The gathering was warmly welcomed by Senior Consultant Neurologist Dr. Joseph Sebastian. Rev. Fr. Dr. Binu Kunnath delivered an insightful keynote address, followed by felicitations from Medical Director Dr. Bobby N. Abraham. Dr. Vaishnavi K. V., Consultant Neurologist and Movement Disorder Specialist, expressed her gratitude to the participants for their enthusiastic response.
A central highlight was a neurology panel discussion titled "Parkinson's Disease: A Comprehensive Overview," moderated by Dr. Joseph Sebastian.
