The ‘Basics of Craniofacial Fixation’ course jointly organized by the Plastic and Microvascular Surgery Department of Caritas Hospital and the Kairali Plastic Surgery Association (KPSA) was successfully concluded. Aimed at introducing the latest treatment methods in the field of plastic surgery, the training program was attended by around 20 participants. The two-day program, which included classes and practical training sessions, provided valuable knowledge and learning experience to the participants.
The inaugural function held at Caritas Hospital was officiated by Rev. Fr. Joice Nandikunnel, Joint Director – Operations. The program was organized under the guidance of Medical Director Dr. Bobbie N. Abraham, Dr. Cyril Joseph (President, Kairali Plastic Surgery Association – KPSA), Dr. Philip Philip Puthumana (HOD, Department of Plastic Surgery), Dr. Steve Reji Thomas, Dr. Jayachandran S, and Dr. Dimmy Harold.
The sessions were led by Dr. Naveen Isaac John, Dr. Philip Philip Puthumana, Dr. Steve Regi Thomas, and Dr. Iype V. George. The workshop also introduced state-of-the-art systems and advanced instruments that ensure precision in complex facial surgeries.
