The Caritas family warmly welcomed and honoured His Excellency Mar Thomas Animoottil, who was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of the Kottayam Archdiocese. The reception was organised to extend heartfelt wishes for the Bishop’s new mission of service.

During the ceremony, Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath, Director and CEO of Caritas Hospital, Rev. Sr. Shiji Jose, Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), and Dr. Bobbie N. Abraham, Medical Director, jointly honored the Bishop by presenting him with a ceremonial shawl. The Joint Directors presented him with a token of love and appreciation.

Following the reception, His Excellency Mar Thomas Animoottil officially inaugurated the ‘Smile’ Project and delivered the felicitation address. Rev. Fr. John Poochakkattil, Joint Director of Caritas Hospital, proposed the vote of thanks. Doctors and hospital staff were also present at the ceremony.
