Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences, in collaboration with Kottayam Cycling Club, successfully organized the Kottayam Cyclothon 2025 as part of the World Heart Day celebrations, attracting huge public participation and excitement. The event, held on September 28th at 5:00 AM from Caritas Hospital, emphasized the importance of cycling and physical activity in promoting heart health. 350 participants from different places took part in the event. The 100 km and 40 km rides were inaugurated by Shri Chetan Kumar Meena IAS (District Collector & Magistrate of Kottayam), Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath (Director & CEO, Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences), and Shri Cherian Varghese (President, KCC), along with Rev. Fr. Joice Nandikunnel (Joint Director – Operations) and Rev. Fr. Jismon Madathil (Joint Director – Media & Relations).
The program concluded with medals and participation certificates being distributed to all riders, marking a memorable celebration of fitness and heart health.
