Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences and Caritas Cancer Institute, in association with the SDM Cancer Relief Fund, organized a cheque distribution programme to support cancer patients and their families. This initiative has been continuing for the past 18 years.

The programme was held at the Diamond Jubilee Hall, where financial assistance cheques were distributed to cancer patients. The event was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath, Director & CEO, Caritas Hospital. Dr. Manu John, Consultant – Palliative Oncology, delivered the welcome address, while Dr. Bobbie N. Abraham, Medical Director, offered felicitations. Prof. Dr. Jose Tom, Senior Consultant – Radiation Oncology, proposed the vote of thanks.

Through this initiative, financial assistance amounting to ₹20 lakh was provided to more than 50 cancer patients, offering much-needed support to patients and their families during their cancer treatment journey.
