Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences and Caritas Life (Caritas Social Responsibility), in association with KCWA Karimkunnam Unit, successfully conducted a Cancer Awareness Session & Mammogram Screening at St. Augustine's Knanaya Catholic Church, Karimkunnam.

The event commenced with a prayer song, followed by a welcome address from Smt. Annie Sunny (KCWA Karimkunnam Unit). The inaugural address was delivered by Smt. Beena Biju (KCWA Forane President) and the official inauguration was led by Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath (Director & CEO, Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences). Special addresses were given by Rev. Fr. John Chennakuzhy (Vicar, Forane Chunkom) and Hon. Rev. Fr. James Vadakkekandamkariyil (KCWA Forane Chunkom). Felicitation was delivered by Smt. Shirley Alexander (Forane Secretary).

The informative session, led by Dr. Jose Jom Thomas (Senior Specialist – Community Medicine) and Dr. Remya Paul Mukkathu (Dietician – Clinical Nutrition), the session equipped all participants with practical insights on cancer prevention, early detection, and healthy lifestyle practices.

Alongside the awareness program, participants also availed Mammogram Screening, Health Check-up, and Breast Examination Clinic services.
