Dr Deepak Madhu is a gastroenterologist with 9 years of experience in the field of gastroenterology. He had been trained in gastroenterology at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He has a keen interest in Endoscopic Ultrasound and in the detection, characterisation and endoscopic resection of early gastrointestinal tumors. He has undergone overseas training in Spain (Endoscopic Ultrasound) and in Japan (Magnifying Endoscopy and Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection). He has prior experience as consultant in gastroenterology at Lisie Hospital, Kochi.
He has multiple peer reviewed publications in peer reviewed international journals and has presented his research in international conferences. He had also passed the MRCP (UK) exam in 2014. He has a clinical fellowship in endoscopic ultrasound from Spain and also has undergone advanced clinical training in Japan.
