Dr. Fairooz Fathima is a highly skilled Interventional Pulmonologist specializing in minimally invasive endoscopic procedures. She completed a comprehensive Fellowship in Advanced Interventional Pulmonology, acquiring expertise in various techniques such as Endobronchial Ultrasound for lung cancer diagnosis and staging, Rigid Bronchoscopy, Transbronchial Lung Cryobiopsy for diagnosis of Interstitial Lung Disease, Tracheal Stenosis Repair and Airway Stenting. Additionally, she is skilled in procedures like Endobronchial Debulking, Airway Foreign Body Removal, and Bronchoscopic procedures for Bronchopleural Fistula closure.
Dr. Fathima's primary focus areas include early lung cancer diagnosis, palliative lung cancer treatment, and management of benign and malignant tracheal stenosis.
