A medical camp was held in Kochi on December 18 under the cooperation of Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences and Naval Aircraft Yard.

The camp was inaugurated by CMDE Sandeep D Sabnis, NM (Commodore Superintendent NAY (K)), in the presence of Rev.Fr.Gismon Madathil – Joint Director of Caritas Hospital.

The camp also had a session on breast cancer awareness and customers also had the opportunity to have a medical check up. Services made available included blood pressure checks and glucose, clinical breast examination, and mammography.

The camp that was attended by about 74 people included 24 participants who went through mammogram screening under the leadership of Dr. Sharon Raj Ellis, Senior Consultant of the Community Medicine Department.
