The doctors of the ortho department of the hospital relieved the woman by correcting the curvature of her spine. Young women was diagonised with idiopathic scocaritas scoliosis, a rare condition affecting the spine in teenagers. Dr. Jomin George (Consultant - Spine Surgery) corrected the curvature of the spine with a long 8-hour surgery.

The main complication of this type of surgery is leg weakness. Inorder to avoid this type of complication, this operation was done with the help of a technique called neuromonitoring (ONM), which is an innovative system to monitor the strength of the patient's legs during the operation.
