The Jr. Maintenance Engineer is responsible for coordinating and executing maintenance tasks within the hospital, ensuring that all systems and infrastructure function efficiently. This role involves working closely with senior engineers and maintenance teams to manage on-site maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist with routine maintenance activities related to hospital infrastructure, including civil and electrical systems.
• Coordinate work site activities, ensuring that all maintenance and repair tasks are completed safely, on time, and in line with hospital standards.
• Assist in diagnosing issues related to hospital building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) and propose solutions for timely repairs.
• Collaborate with contractors and external vendors for specialized maintenance tasks and procurement of materials.
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and regulations during maintenance work.
• Support senior engineers in project execution and problem-solving related to infrastructure and utilities.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of civil or electrical maintenance practices, particularly in a hospital setting.
• Ability to coordinate work efficiently and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and solving technical problems related to building systems.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with maintenance teams, contractors, and hospital staff.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively to ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations.
• Familiarity with hospital-specific maintenance requirements and regulations.
