• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Perform electrical inspections and identify electrical problems or hazards.
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical wiring and fixtures.
• Install and maintain lighting, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Follow national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems according to specifications and codes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems or malfunctions.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors as needed.
• Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure safety procedures and regulations are followed at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
