CARITAS HOSPITAL is a gift of the catholic diocese of KOTTAYAM to the nation under a registered CHARITABLE TRUST with registration No.510/IV/95. What motivates the community to accept this formidable challenge is the mandate it received from its Lord JESUS CHRIST, who wanted every human being to enjoy the fullness of joy and abundance of life. Caritas Hospital marks an important step in the evolution of health care in central Kerala. A major research center and teaching institution Caritas Hospital pioneers procedures that save lives and alleviate pain and suffering.
At present the hospital is constructing a new block called 'BISHOP MAKIL' block for 130 paywards, 7 operation theatres, modernised facilities for obsterics & Gynaecology, Cardiothoracic surgeries with cathlab facility, centralised ICU's, modernised laboratory, blood bank & with centralised a/c systems. |
